When your child is too sick to go to daycare...

Presbyterian Hospital of Plano has a day program for sick kids called "Coughs and Cuddles".

When your child has an illness or injury that prevents attendance at a regular child care center or school, just call Coughs & Cuddles at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano at (972) 981-8585 to find out if the program has an opening for that day or the next.  

• Care is offered on a first come, first serve basis.
• No pre-registration is required, but shot records are needed to register your child on the first visit.
• There are separate rooms for infants, toddlers and older children.
• Children are grouped by symptoms and age.
• Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided as well as formula for infants.
• TV's, VCR's and age appropriate toys are available.
• Beds and giant bean bags are available for sleeping/resting on.
• The cost is $6/hour.

Coughs & Cuddles is staffed by quality health and child care providers, including nurses and clinically trained child care assistants, allowing your child to receive the special attention he or she needs.
